LANGTRY LILLIE: (1853-1929) British stage actress and socialite, mistress of the future King Edward VII, when Prince of Wales, from 1877-80. A good, large bold black fountain pen ink signature ('Lillie Langtry') on a large 8vo page removed from an autograph album. Some very light, minor show-through from the signature to the verso, being that of Wilhelm Backhaus (1884-1969) German pianist. VG
