CAMPBELL DONALD: (1921-1967) British Car & Motorboat Racer, World Land and Water Speed Record Holder in the 1950s and 1960s. T.L.S., Donald, one page, 4to, Dolphin Square, London, 19th December 1958, to Squadron Leader D.A. de S. Young-James. Campbell thanks his correspondent for their letter and kind invitation, although comments 'Unfortunately I cannot accept your kindness since, oddly enough, I expect to be in Belgium at that time…..Equally, January 30th is a little tricky since I leave for Ottawa the following day and thence on to Toronto, Salt Lake City, Los Angeles and all stops east'.
