SÉGUR PHILIPPE HENRI DE: (1724-1801) Marshal of France. Grandson of Regent Philippe d´Orléans. War Secretary of State under Louis XVI 1780-87. A very attractive D.S., Le Mal de Segur, one page, oblong vellum, Versailles, 28th July 1783, to Pierre Schonltz, in French. The partially engraved vellum document being a title, according to King´s order, given by Marshal and Knight of France Philippe Henry de Ségur on behalf of his Majesty, approving a life pension to officer Pierre Schonltz for his 26 years of loyal services. Small overall age wear. Folded. Otherwise VG £80-100
