HIMMLER HEINRICH: (1900-1945) German Nazi official of World War II, Reichsfuhrer of the SS. D.S., `H. Himmler', four pages, folio, Berlin, 11th December 1944, to the Fuhrer´s headquarters office for the attention of State Minister and chief executive of the Fuhrer´s office, in German. The partially printed document being a proposal of appointment, and Himmler in his capacity as Chief of the German police, suggests promoting Erich Wichmann, Captain of police to the rank of Major. Pages two to four report on Erich Wichmann military career during World War one, his police career since 1919, his political engagements with the NSDAP since 1933, and also his family members, residence, etc.. With two ink stamps from the Fuhrer´s office, having received and filed the document from 12th and 14th December. With four binder holes to the left border, having this area repaired and reinforced for the binder. Some small overall, minor age wear to the edges with few very small tears not affecting the text or signature. G £400-600
