MILLER HENRY: (1891-1980) American Writer. Known for breaking with existing literary forms. A.L.S., `Henry Miller´, one page, 4to, Berlin, 22nd, May 1962, on a Berlin hotel printed stationery, to an unidentified correspondent, in French. Miller states in part `I will not go through Paris on my return trip to America, no time but I hope will be able to come back to Paris in September..´ A very small area of paper loss to the upper left edge, not affecting the text or signature, otherwise VG £100-150 Most of Miller´s main works such as Tropic of Cancer (1934), Tropic of Capricorn (1939) and The Rosy Crucifixion trilogy (1949-59) were banned in the United States until 1961.
