DAUDET ALPHONSE: (1840-1897) French Novelist. A.N.S., A. Daudet, one page, on his personal printed visiting card, bearing his name and his Parisian address at ''31, Rue de Bellechasse'', Paris, n.d., to Henry Céard, in French. Daudet states `My dear Céard, why don´t you join us for lunch next Saturday, together with Goncourt and Geffroy we will have a monster frying at a cabaret on the banks of the Seine. We must talk about Paris..´ Written in bold black ink to the front card. Small tear and stain to the upper right corner, only affecting one word, otherwise G £80-100 Henry Céard (1851-1924) French Poet and Novelist. A close friend of Zola and Daudet.
