CAMPBELL DONALD: (1921-1967) - CAMPBELL DONALD: (1921-1967) British speed record on land and on water in the 50´s and 60´s. He remains being the only person to set both records in the same year, 1964. Campbell died during a speed attempt in northern England. T.L.S., Donald Campbell, one page, 4to, Surrey, 4th March 1949, on his personal printed stationery, to Squadron-Leader Young-James from the Royal Air Force Club.
