Assassinated. Rare T.L.S., `Che´, in his usual small writing, one page, 4to, La Habana, 10th April 1959, to judge Dr. Rubio y Linares, in Spanish. The document bears to the upper left corner the printed heading ''Comandante Ernesto Che Guevara'', and refers to a court case, stating `Dada cuenta, con el anterior escrito, lista de testigos, interrogatories, y lo demás que se acompaña, formese el cuaderno de pruebas de la parte actora, se admiten las que se proponen y se declaran pertinentes, asi como las poreguntas de los interrogatorios, y asi que conste abierto el segundo periodo de pruebas..´ (“Taking into account, with the previous writing, list of witnesses, interrogatories, and the rest that is attached, form the evidence book of the plaintiff, those that are proposed and declared pertinent are admitted, as well as the questions of the interrogatories, and so the second testing period is open. .”) Che Guevara, in his capacity as Minister of Industry, signs and approves the dispatch. The typed letter bears several countersignatures and ink stamp. Overall age wear and creasing with two extremely small pinholes to the left border. G
