EICHMANN ADOLF: (1906-1962) Nazi SS-Obersturmbannfuhrer, known as the 'architect of the Holocaust'. A small 12mo fragment clipped from a partially printed official document, bearing three lines of text in Eichmann's hand, unsigned, in bold dark fountain pen ink, in German (untranslated) although seemingly relating to his employment between 1927 and 1932. Lightly mounted at the base of an A4 sheet of paper featuring a reproduction image of Mengele in a head and shoulders pose wearing his uniform. VG
Mengele worked as a travelling oil salesman from 1927 and joined both the Nazi Party and the SS in 1932.
