REDIESS FRIEDRICH: (1900-1945) German Nazi SS Commander and Chief of Police of Norway during the German occupation in WWII 1940-45. Rediess committed suicide by a self-inflicted gunshot wound upon the collapse of the Third Reich in Norway on 8th May 1945. Signed 12mo clipped piece, being part of a larger document, bearing the typed text above the signature `Der SS-Standartenfuhrer". Signed by Rediess in bold black ink alongside an SS green ink stamp with the Nazi eagle and swastika. Neatly affixed to the lower white border of an 8 x 10 printed photograph of Rediess. G
