IONESCO EUGENE: (1909-1994) Romanian-French Playwright, a foremost figure of the French Avant-Garde Theatre. A good content T.L.S., `Eugene Ionesco´, one page, 4to, Paris, 1st of June 1978, to Miss Erica Ostrowsky, New York University of Paris, in French. From his Boulevard du Montparnasse address in Paris, Ionesco states in part `Regarding your request of information about my plastic works, I can tell you that there is a book entitles “Decouvertes” (“Discoveries”) published within the collection Les Sentiers de la Création and edited by Swiss editor Albert Skira. The representative in Paris is the librarian Weber, Boulevard St. Germain. This book is theoretically out of print, but may be they do keep some copies.´ Further again, and before concluding Ionesco says `I hope to see you again soon in Paris or in the United States, because it is always a great pleasure for me to meet you again..´ Accompanied by the original typed addressed envelope, postmarked and stamped.
