KISLING MOISE: (1891-1953) Polish-born French Painter. He served in the French Foreign Legion in World War I. A.L.S., M. Kisling, one page, oblong 4to, being a folded 8vo stiff written to the inside, La Baie, Sanary-sur-mer, 3rd January 1950, to a friend, in French. Kisling sends his greetings to his correspondent and states in part `..1950 will be a year better than others - you will see what I say - it will be a marvellous one! How are you? If you come to visit our continent, do not forget your friends.´ Further reminding his address in Paris. VG
