KOUPRIN ALEXANDER: (1870-1938) Russian Writer, Pilot, Explorer and Adventurer. Best known for his story The Duel. A.N.S., `A. Kuprin´, one page, 8vo, n.p., n.d., to Vladimir Lvovich, in Cyrillic. Kouprin states in full `Dear Vladimir Lvovich, I am sending you two tickets for Yama.'' Two file holes to the left border, not affecting the text or signature. G Yama, or The Pit, 1909-15 is a work by Kouprin, based on the lives of prostitutes in a brothel. One of Kouprin's most ambitious and controversial novels.
