CARTOONISTS: Two signed documents, being a sketch and photograph, by two well-known American Cartoonists, comprising Walter Lantz (1889-1994), also film Producer and Director, best known for founding Walter Lantz Productions and creating Woody Woodpecker. Signed and inscribed 5 x 3 card, Walter Lantz, alongside an ink sketch of Woody Woodpecker, in his hand; James Robert Davis (1945- ) Best known as the creator of the comic strips Garfield. A good signed 4 x 6 photograph, the image depicting Davis seated, in a head and shoulders pose, alongside his cartoon characters Garfield and Odie. Signed in bold black ink, with his name alone, to the lower white border of the image. EX, 2
