BRITISH ACTORS: Michael Caine (1933- ) English actor, Academy Award winner. Signed 8 x 10 photograph of Caine in a head and shoulders pose, in costume as Alfie Elkins, as he silences Vivien Merchant (Lily Clamacraft) by placing his hand over her mouth, in a scene from the British romantic comedy-drama film Alfie (1966). Signed by Caine in bold black ink to a clear area of the image. It was for his performance in this film that Caine received a Best Actor Oscar nomination (and Merchant a Best Supporting Actress nomination); Tom Courtenay (1937- ) English actor, an Academy Award nominee. A good vintage signed and inscribed 8 x 10 photograph of Courtenay in a head and shoulders pose in costume as Pavel 'Pasha' Antipov/Strelnikov from the epic romantic drama film Doctor Zhivago (1965). Signed in turquoise fountain pen ink to a clear area of the image. It was for his performance in this film that Courtenay received a Best Supporting Actor Oscar nomination. VG, 2
