OLLIVIER OLIVIER EMILE: (1825-1913) French Statesman. Prime Minister of France 1869-70. Strongly opposed to Emperor Napoleon III, he claimed for liberal reforms. A clean A.L.S., `Emile Ollivier´, three pages, 12mo, Saint Tropez, 25th November 1894, in French. Ollivier states in part `Forgive me for not having replied to your kind shipment. As soon as I had a free moment I read these charming verses. They are of a gracious and kind inspiration and I slowly surrendered to their enchantment
´ Ollivier further comments that he suddenly realizes that he has not his correspondent´s address, but will manage to make the letter reach him. VG
