GARY ROMAIN: (1914-1980) Born Roman Kacew. French Novelist, Diplomat and film Director of Jewish origin. Gary is also known as Emile Ajar, his pen name. He is the only author to have won the Prize Goncourt under two names. Gary was also an Aviator during WWII. Signed and inscribed 6 x 4 card, `Romain Gary´, one page, Paris, n.d., on his personal printed stationery, to Gerard Garrigue, in French. Gary sends his regards to his correspondent. With small traces of former affixing to the verso. VG
