Balzac writes this interesting letter to his editor Souverain, explaining that he needs to ask him one more but very important favour, stating in part `You will receive at your home a violin in a box, and what I need is that you ship it in the quickest way, considering post in France and Germany, to Brody, to my address at… We must get this violin here for beginning of June in order to offer it as a present.. May be this shipment will coincide with the shipment of the Orbigny dictionary…´ Balzac further asks his correspondent to prepare for him a list of accounts, what he owes him, and lists a number of names and books that he intends to pay his editor for on his near future return to Paris. Balzac further again states `I will be back enough in time for the printing affair of the poor parents, and too early to find myself in the middle of the agitators of your republic… because it seems to me that you are by far a minority.
