HONEGGER ARTHUR: (1892-1955) Swiss Composer, a member of Les Six. An original signed autograph musical manuscript (`A.Honegger´), one page, oblong folio, n.p., January 1954. The manuscript in the hand of Honegger is entitled and underlined in red `Eine Weihnach Kantate´, (Christmas Cantata) by the German Composer, who has carefully penned a 21 bars on two staves musical quote. Honegger has added some dynamics, some musical choir voices text, etc.. at various points in the piece (`Eine Kinderstimme., Baritono solo., Adagio., Chor., Gloria in excel-sis De.o.´). A bold black fountain pen ink manuscript with long inscription in German (`To Dr. Willy Schuh, with my best regards and thanks for the many and good words dedicated to me, with my sincere friendhip, A. Honegger - January 54´). Some very small overall age wear, and an extremely small tear to the lower edge not affecting any word or quote. Scarce. VG £400-600
