PIAF EDITH: (1915-1963) French Singer. D.S., Edith Piaf, six pages, 4to, New York, 13th June 1960, in French. The printed document is a Theatrical Motion Picture Agency Contract, an Artist´s Manager Contract made between Henry Miller in his capacity as President of the General Artists Corporation, and Edith Piaf. By this contract the French artist employs the agent for a period of one year commencing June 13th 1960, and agrees to pay to the agent as commissions a sum equal to 10% of all moneys received by the actress. Signed by Piaf and Miller in blue ink at the foot. The typed document includes twelve conditions clauses, the eighth being a special one indicating that the agent agrees that two persons, and only these two, shall personally supervise the actress´ business during the term of the contract. The two listed names are M.W. Krasny and Martin Baum. With staple to the upper left corner. VG £200-300
