MUBARAK HOSNI: (1928-2020) President of Egypt 1981-2011. Egyptian Air force chief Marshal who served as the fourth President of Egypt. In 2011, during the Egyptian Revolution, Mubarak resigned after 30 years leading the country. A month later Mubarak and his sons were detained accused of corruption and abuse of power. In 2012 the court sentenced him to life imprisonment, although a year later the high court ordered a retrial and he was given prison sentence, being acquitted in 2017. A good colour signed 6 x 8.5 photograph, the image showing Mubarak in a head and shoulders pose. Signed in bold black ink, in Arabic, to the lower white border. VG
