CAROL II: (1893-1953) King of Romania 1930-40 & PRINCESS ELENA (1899-1977) Mistress and later the third wife of King Carol II. A pair of signed Christmas greetings cards by King Carol II and Princess Elena individually, the small 8vo folding cards each featuring sepia reproductions of portraits of the King and his wife to the inside, signed by each in blue and green fountain pen inks beneath the images, each adding the date 1951-52 in their hands, and with a holograph greeting by each to the opposite side. Some slight traces of former mounting to the plain outer covers of each card, otherwise VG
