A former Prussian Officer. Rundstedt participated as Commander in the invasion of Poland, also during the Battle of France and in the invasion of the Soviet Union. Rundstedt was aware of the various plots to depose Hitler, but refused to support them. After the war, he was charged with war crimes but did not face trial due to his age and poor health. A good signed postcard photograph, the Ross image depicting the Nazi field Marshal in a head and shoulders pose wearing his military uniform. Signed in bold black ink `Heil Hitler!
