A touching letter referring to his father´s death, saying `You have very delicately and always given to my father testimony of your affection, which he never stopped appreciating it ´ Accompanied by an original printed death announcement, one page, 4to, mourning paper, being issued after Ferdinand de Lesseps´ death on 7th December 1894. Also including an attractive contemporary printed short biography of De Lesseps, four pages, 4to, published by Les Hommes d´Aujourd´hui, showing to the front cover a colourful sketch of De Lesseps.
