WRITERS: Two good signed and inscribed photographs by CAMILO JOSÉ CELA (1916-2002) Spanish Novelist and Essayist, associated with the generation of 36. Nobel Prize in Literature 1989. Signed and inscribed 4.5 x 6.5 photograph, dated Palma de Mallorca, 3rd of January 1980, the image showing Cela inscribing one of his works book; & GEORGES SIMENON (1903-1989) Belgian Writer. Best known as the creator of the fictional detective Jules Maigret. A good signed and inscribed 4 x 6 photograph by Simenon, dated 1978 in his hand, the image depicting the writer in close up portrait profile pose. Both photographs are signed and inscribed in bold inks to a clear areas of the images. VG, 2
