HERGÉ: (1907-1983) Georges Prosper Remi. Belgian Cartoonist. Best known for creating the series of comics ''The Adventures of Tintin''. An excellent T.L.S., signed twice, `Hergé´, and alongside a typed post-scriptum `H´, also in his hand, one page, 4to, Bruxelles, 2nd of July 1975, on the Studios Hergé attractive printed stationery, to Monsieur Jean-Pierre Verheylewegen, in French. The letter bears at the heading the black embossed letters of ''Studios Hergé'' alongside an embossed sketch of Tintin and Milou. Hergé responds to his correspondent stating in part `..I have taken the habit not to deny what some people with more or less good faith declare about myself. And most of all I take very good care not to be sad for it´, Further saying before concluding `Let´s see the whole philosophically. Next March or April, the new comic series album will be issued ''Tintin and the Picaros'', and this will cut the wings momentarily to all these
