NAPOLEON IV: (1856-1879) Prince Imperial, the only child of Emperor Napoleon III and his Empress consort Eugenie de Montijo. Very rare signed 2.5 x 4 carte de visite photograph (c.1874), the image depicting the young Prince in a formal head and shoulders pose. Signed `Napoleon´ in bold black ink to the lower white border of the photograph. Prince Imperial Napoleon Bonaparte died at the very early age of 23, killed by Zulus during the Zulu War. Overall small foxing stains. About G
