KETCHAM HANK: (1920-2001) American Cartoonist, creator of Dennis The Menace. An amusing original pencil sketch by Ketcham, one page, (tracing paper), n.p., 7th March 1991, being one of Ketcham's preliminary sketches before making a pen and ink cartoon, the image depicting Dennis the Menace hand in hand with his grandfather as he returns home to his parents, with a pencil caption at the foot, 'Boy! Grampa sure knows how to treat little kids! He shoulda had some of his own!'. Signed and dated in black ink by Ketcham to the upper border. One slight central horizontal fold, otherwise VG
