Best known for his caricatures in The New York Review of Books. An excellent signed and inscribed ink sketch, to a 5 x 6 white card, 3rd of April 1986. To the blank verso of a folding invitation card, Levine has drawn a smiling caricature of himself as the head of a fountain pen. Bearing to the front a printed Levine´s caricature of Chateaubriand, and to the inside the printed text is an invitation to his Dessins Satiriques exhibition, Paris, March-April 1985, Galerie Claude Bernard.
