MUZIO CLAUDIA: (1889-1936) Italian Soprano. Signed and inscribed 4 x 6 photograph, the image depicting Muzio in costume, in a head and shoulders pose. Signed in bold blue ink `A Jose Moraes, per ricordo, Claudia Muzio, ''Cecilia''´, also dated 1935 in his hand. Signed the year before passing away. Small overall age wear and creasing, mostly to edges, otherwise G Cecilia (1934) is an opera by Licinio Refice (1883-1954), Italian Composer and Priest. The main role was created for Muzio, who premiered it in Rome. It was the last important role performed by Muzio.
