GRETCHANINOV ALEXANDER: (1864-1956) Russian Composer. A.M.Q.S., `A. Gretchaninoff- op.145´, four pages, large folio, n.p., n.d., being the musical score of his Deux Miniatures for flute and Piano, op.145, entitled Souvenir de l´Ami Lointain and Au Foyer. Signed to the front page musical score cover, and entitled beneath `2 miniatures for flute and piano´ in his hand. To the second third and fourth pages, bearing an extensive musical quotation consisting of staved score sheets, with over fifty bars of music. On each sheet, Gretchaninov has intricately penned dynamics `Moderato´, `Amoroso´, and many instructions alongside and annotations throughout `Flute.. Piano.. tempo.. molto espressivo.. poetissimo..´ Together with a printed folio page with the musical score of Souvenir de l´Ami Lointain, signed and annotated by Gretchaninov to the upper left corner, in French `Can be printed, A.G.´. Small overall, minor age wear, with crease corner. The second printed page with edges trimmed. G
