WAYNE JOHN: (1907-1979) American Actor, Academy Award winner. Signed and inscribed 8 x 10 photograph of Wayne standing in a three quarter length pose in a cowboy costume, with one hand on a pistol in his sling and the other hand holding the barrel of his rifle. Signed in bold black ink across a clear area at the centre of the image and dated 1974 in his hand. Some light scuffing and minor paper loss to the lower white border and a second area of light scuffing and minor paper loss at the centre of the head of the image, largely affecting Wayne's Stetson hat.
