Georges Mathieu was a French abstract painter, art theorist, considered one of the fathers of European lyrical abstraction, a trend of informalism. With its explosive dynamism, his work for the label of Mouton Rothschild 1961 is very much in his style.

Private wine cellar from a Villa in the South of France. (preserved in the cellar with regulated hydrometry and temperature)
