A EUROPEAN COLONIAL SILVER CUP WITH RELIEF DECORATION, CA. 1860

A silver cup with colonial scenes, showing a rider chasing an elk on one side and on the other ide a plantation scene with fieldworkers, coconut trees, and a large house. The underside of the cup bears a faint inscription which appears to bear a dedication and a reference the year 1860, though it is difficult to make out the full text.
