A PAIR OF RUSSIAN CAVIAR DISHES, IMPERIAL PORCELAIN FACTORY, 19TH C.
Imperial Porcelain Factory, St. Petersburg, period of Alexander III (1881-1894).
Two porcelain caviar or oyster dishes from the Grand Duke Alexander Alexandrovich service, decorated with gilded latticework borders and foliate scrolls outlined in red, relieved with the crowned monogram of Grand Duke Alexander Alexandrovich (the future Emperor Alexander III), the shaped handle molded with gilt anthemia motif.
Both dishes are marked on the bottom with underglaze-green ciphers of Alexander III, dated 1888 and 1891.

Condition: Very good condition. Minor and insignificant signs of age and wear. No chips, cracks, or damages..
