A RARE 1870 IRON CROSS 1ST CLASS WITH WW1 CLASP
An 1870 Iron Cross 1st Class with integrated 1914 clasp for a soldier who was awarded in both wars. Given it was 44 years apart, awards of this type were extremely rare and tended to bookend an extremely long military career on both ends.
Marked as silver.
