A MEISSEN PORCELAIN FIGURINE THE DRUNKEN SIREN
A well-detailed porcelain figurine of Meissen, which depicts a drunken Bacchus riding a donkey, the young man supporting him and the girl who decorates the donkey with bunches of grapes. A playful putti plays with a donkey's tail from behind. After the design of Ernst August Leuteritz. With a blue manufacturer's stamp on the bottom. Ca. 19th cen.
