A Rare Silver, Ivory and Horn Torah Pointer, Eastern Europe, 19th Century
Description: The ivory handle with Hebrew engraved inscription: "She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one…" (Proverbs 3:18). Cameo carving of an egret on the other side of the ivory handle. With original chain. Illegibly marked.
