Brutalist Middle Eastern Fused Glass Art
Measuring 15cm x 36cm, this work showcases a unique and striking aesthetic that combines the principles of brutalism with the artistry of fused glass. The piece depicts a minaret surrounded by smaller buildings, all crafted from vibrant orange/red glass and fine glass enamel that is fused between two sheets of clear glass.

The use of brutalist design elements, characterized by bold and rugged forms, imparts a sense of strength and rawness to the artwork. The choice of red glass adds cultural richness and symbolism while the enamel adds to the environment, evoking the warmth of the Middle Eastern landscape, as well as reflecting the region's architectural and historical influences.

The fusion technique, enhances the depth and dimension of the artwork. The clear glass sheets serve to encapsulate the buildings, creating a visually compelling piece that captures the essence of Middle Eastern architecture through a modern and artistic lens. The compact size makes it a captivating and manageable piece for display.

Good, but only noticeable from the rear there is a chip on the back sheet of glass (Please see this in the picture of the corner).
