An Ottoman pen-on-paper architectural rendering of the Masjid al-Haram in Mecca, showcasing a bird’s-eye view of the sacred precinct. Executed in fine black ink on parchment-toned paper, the drawing precisely maps the Kaaba at the centre, encircled by the colonnaded sanctuary and minarets. Arabic annotations label significant structures, including the Maqam Ibrahim, Zamzam well, and key gates and surrounding landmarks.
