Pair of golden Phoenician stirrup earrings. - Pair of golden Phoenician stirrup earrings with cylinder seals made of serpentine. Levant, 5th - 4th century BC. 9g. ø of the stirrups 1,6cm, length over all 3,3cm and 4,3cm, height of the seals 1,6cm. Golden stirrups with grooved decor, at one end golden wires. Both seals made of black serpentine, with Phoenician inscription. Inscriptions notated by the former owner on enclosed paper! Tiny fragments are missing, otherwise intact.
