Pair of gold earrings. - Pair of gold earrings composed of a disc with rosettes and boat-shaped pendants with granules and filigree decoration. In the center of the boat a palmette with volutes. At the boat-shaped pendant more pendants made from foxtail chains with acorns and spindles. 44g, length 8.2cm, ø of the disc 2.5cm. Hellenistic, 2nd half 4th century BC. One granule missing, otherwise intact. Splendid earrings!
