Attic type iron helmet. - Attic type iron helmet of round form with a flanged visor and neck guard, volutes over the forehead and holes for the cheek pieces, height 14cm, width 19.5cm, length 24cm. Hellenistic, Eastern Mediterranean, 300 - 250 BC. Cheek pieces and parts of the neck guard missing. Pressed flat on the skull. Professionally restored with filled up areas.
