Large Corinthian black-figure alabastron of the Panther Bird Group. - Large Corinthian black-figure alabastron of the Panther Bird Group. Early Corinthian, 625 - 600 BC. Height 18,6cm, ø corpus 9,7cm. On the corpus two opposite cocks, inbetween a snake and rosettes. Numerous details in red. Reassembled from fragments, small missing fragments at the cracks are retouched, colour at one cock partially flaked off.
