Very rare letter from the American Senate signed by Richard Nixon (Dick), registered on 01.17.1951 by the District of Columbia Commission (which also included Joseph Mc Carty - supporter of McCarthyism). The letter is addressed to Henry Tasca. Text: ”DEAR HENRY, THANK YOU FOR SENDING ME THIS ARTICLE FROM L'”HUMANITE'”. APPARENTLY, THE COMMUNISTS USED THE SPEECHES OF TAFT AND HOOVER (USA presidents) TO GET SOME ADVANTAGE. IN ANY WAY, I WILL BE GRATEFUL IF YOU ALSO SEND ME SMALL NOTES, CONFIDENTIALLY, RELATING TO SUCH TOPICS. THANKING YOU WITH ALL MY HEART, I HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON. DICK”.
