Very rare postcard sent from New York, from the Hotel Astor, 01.26.1907 by Giacomo Puccini. Written in his own hand entirely in original.
The image shows City Hall, and the Tribune Building.
The text says
"Dear Ricciooncino*, greetings to you and Pietrino.
I am fine. Very affectionate Puccini."
* "Ricciooncino" = was the lawyer Riccioni, then mayor of Viareggio and friend of the maestro, who, in friendship, gave him this ironic nickname.
