(1917-1943) German Luftwaffe fighter ace during World War II, credited with shooting down 206 enemy aircraft. Wing commander of Jagdgeschwader 1. Killed in action on 8. October 1943. Signed black-and-white postcard, inscribed on the verso 'Warm greetings and all the best, Hans Philipp Oblt', the card is noted as received on 19.10.1941, 4 x 5.75 inches.
