FIRST EDITION of this biography of the deeds of D. Duarte de Meneses, an important military figure in the Moroccan campaigns of the 15th century and about whom Zurara also wrote a biography shortly after his death. It is an important document for the history of that period in Portugal, especially with regard to the campaigns in North Africa. Very rare.
