We are also excited to continue to offer the Textile Document Sample Collection from a well known NYC textile and garment design archive which provided design and concept inspiration to fashion and textile designers around the world for more than 25 years!

Antique c1890 Trip Around the World Quilt measuring 79 by 80 inches it is comprised of 1369 1.5 inch squares, set straight 37 by 37, with a solid cheddar 2 inch inner border, and a 4.5 inch green print outer border. The trip around the world pattern is created with fabric and color placement. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. There is a thin cotton batting and a black morning cotton print reverse. The edge is finished knife edge style, by hand. It is in good condition with a few small spots and minor fading in the green print border. This quilt is part of the Estate of widely respected Sharon Stark of Sharon's Antiques Vintage Fabrics and Textiles of Eastern PA. She was an author and long time collector and dealer of antique quilts, fabrics and textiles. Sharon was THE authority on Feedsacks, and you may remember her Rickrack website. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
