Gouache on cardboard signed lower right, preserved under glass in its original wooden frame. This work is part of a series of engravings representing the Vatican frescoes made by the artist in Rome in 1722. Time wear in places, but good general condition, accidents to the frame.

Provenance: this work is visible on the walls of the living room in the house of Sarcelles, located 7 rue Victor-Hugo: property rented and occupied by Felix and Irina Youssoupoff from 1939 to 1945, as visible in situation on the photo above.
